Summary- The main goal of this section is to teach you how to prove statements about segments. Most of the time you will be given a picture of lines, a given statement or something they tell you that is true about an aspect of a line. Finally they will give you statement that it is your job to prove using the properties and definitions in this chapter. Sometimes you will be given part of the two column proof, and others you will be given nothing. below you will see a picture of an empty two column proof, on the left you would write your statement, and on the right you would put your reason.
